Use DinDin with autonomy and responsibility.
These Terms govern your use of DinDin, self-custody wallet software provided by Borealis Technologies LLC.
Important: DinDin does not custody your assets, control your seed phrase, act as a bank, exchange, payment institution, investment adviser or counterparty to partner transactions.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using DinDin, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use DinDin on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.
The English version of these Terms is the controlling contractual version to the maximum extent permitted by law. Portuguese and Spanish translations are provided for convenience and should be read consistently with the English version.
2. What DinDin provides
DinDin provides software to create, import, view and use self-custody digital asset wallets. Signing, sending and receiving transactions occurs through keys controlled by you on your device.
Buy, sell, Pix/payment, quote, KYC, AML, payment and settlement features may be provided by independent partners. Those services are governed by the partner's own terms, policies, eligibility rules, fees, limits and decisions.
3. Self-custody and seed phrase responsibility
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your seed phrase, private keys, PIN, biometrics, device and backups. DinDin cannot recover your seed phrase, restore lost access or move assets on your behalf.
Anyone with access to your seed phrase or private keys can control your assets. Never share them with support, partners or any third party.
4. Digital asset risks
Digital assets involve high risk, volatility, total loss, network failures, address errors, smart contract risks, forks, attacks, outages, regulatory changes and network fees. Blockchain transactions are often irreversible once broadcast or confirmed.
Values displayed in reais or other currencies are estimates, may come from third parties and do not guarantee an executable price.
5. No financial advice
DinDin does not provide financial, legal, accounting, tax or investment advice. No information in the app or website is a recommendation, promise of return, securities offering or solicitation to buy or sell assets.
6. Partner services
Partners are responsible for KYC, AML, fraud prevention, pricing, execution, Pix/payment processing, settlement, refunds where applicable, fees, limits, refusals, regulated support and reporting to authorities.
DinDin may facilitate technical access, display partner-provided information and mirror status for user experience, but it does not control partner approval, pricing, settlement, chargeback, cancellation or blocking decisions.
7. Permitted use
You agree to use DinDin only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable sanctions, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, privacy, consumer and tax laws.
You may not use DinDin for fraud, abuse, sanctions evasion, malware, vulnerability exploitation, market manipulation, illicit financing, rights violations or attempts to bypass technical controls.
8. Availability and changes
DinDin may evolve, suspend or discontinue features, integrations, networks, assets or access when needed for security, maintenance, regulatory change, partner unavailability or business reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Taxes and records
You are responsible for understanding and complying with tax obligations, filings, records and reports related to your digital assets and transactions. DinDin does not calculate or remit taxes for you unless expressly required by law and communicated.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DinDin is provided "as is" and "as available." Borealis Technologies LLC is not responsible for seed phrase loss, address errors, irreversible transactions, blockchain failures, partner decisions, market volatility, third-party outages or misuse of your device.
Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer or data protection rights where applicable law does not allow such limitation.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Borealis Technologies LLC in the United States, without prejudice to mandatory and non-waivable rights that may apply to users in Brazil, including consumer and data protection rules where applicable.
